2 Months

It's hard to believe our little ham is 2 months old. I swear he is already photogenic. He knows what to do when Mommy takes out the camera. Looking back at the past 2 months, he has definitely grown.

We went in today for Logan's 2 month checkup. It was supposed to be last week, but we had to reschedule as we were in the hospital. Logan weighed in at a whopping 11 pounds 11 ounces and was 24 inches long. Both measurements are right about average for a 2 month old baby boy. The dr. checked him out, and other than his cough that won't seem to subside, he is a healthy baby boy. Woo hoo! Logan was very good during the hour long appointment until the end. He had to get 3 shots and one oral vaccine. He screamed his head off...I don't blame him. He quieted down quickly though and now seems to be doing fine.

Some highlights of the month:

Logan is now smiling a lot. He likes to smile at his octopus and at Mommy and Daddy when they make funny animal sounds.

He loves when Mommy points out the different parts of his face, especially his cheeks and tongue.

Logan continues to enjoy music and loud noises.

**

He still flips over from tummy to back on occasion, but it seems harder now that he weighs more.

**

Logan still makes great eye contact and will track objects back and forth as well as up and down.

**

Bathtime is not quite as painful anymore. Logan is beginning to appreciate his time in the warm water.
