6 months!

I cannot believe our little baby is a half a year old! He's already changed so much in such a short amount of time. One of the changes is that pictures in Logan's little chair are becoming more of a challenge..Aw man, not the monkey...I'd rather sit over here...

So I can eat the chair...mmm... And finally, a smile...

Some highlights of the month:

**Logan is back to sleeping on his back. He usually falls asleep on his side and then rolls flat to his back once he is asleep. You never know how you will find him once he's awake though. He likes to move around the crib once he wakes up.

**Logan is now enjoying the world from a new point of view: sitting up. Throughout the past month, he has been improving on his independent sitting, but just this past week he has become really good at it. He will sit unsupported for 15 minutes just playing with a toy. We still have to be careful though because he will eventually get tired and flop over.

**While on his tummy, Logan has been doing some small scoots backward for a few weeks. A couple nights ago, Logan pushed himself up on all fours for the first time and took one "crawl step" forward. I think he will be a crawler by next month, but we'll see.

**The kid still loves his sleep! Logan has been working on a 3 nap schedule. The nap lengths range between 1-3 hours. Then he sleeps at night from 8pm-6 or 7am. I get jealous of all his shut eye!

**Logan has been enjoying different types of toys. Now that he is getting more coordinated, he passes toys from one hand to the other and of course everything continues to go straight to his mouth!

**Logan's 6 month appointment is on Tuesday. We are anxious to hear his new stats and venture into the world of solid foods! Stay tuned... :)
