10 months

I seriously can't believe it. 2 more months until our little baby will be celebrating his first birthday!

Let's start with a good one...
Hehehe, your silly mommy...
Do I have to share my chair...
Fine, let the monkey sit there...
Silly monkey...

OK, no more pictures...I wasn't kidding...
Chillin' with my "new punk do"...
Yeah, boy...
Some highlights of the month...

**Another month brings many more milestones for our little guy! He continues to crawl everywhere, quickly. He still uses his modified crawling with his right foot on the floor and his left leg dragging behind. His favorite place to crawl, like you saw in the recent video, is up the stairs. He is really fast now.

**Logan is now able to cruise while holding onto things. He will reach from the couch to the cabinet and then move his feet in order to change locations. He also likes to walk across the room holding onto his lion on wheels.

**As far as talking goes, not much has changed. Still babbling. I have to say his favorite words are "mama" and "bob" :) I sometimes think he is trying to say "ball" when he picks one up and says "bob," but it could just be a coincidence. We are continuing to work on some sign language, but I wish we were more consistent with it. The only sign Logan will really do is "more," which is basically just him clapping his hands together when he likes what he is eating.

**Logan seems to be doing well in daycare. The first day, they told us that he didn't want to eat his lunch. My kid didn't want to eat?! Since then, he eats everything they give him and sometimes asks for seconds. That's more like it! He now basically eats everything other than nuts, honey, fish and sweets. He still loves pasta and basically every kind of fruit.

**Logan reached another milestone last week...his first real fever (thanks daycare!). Now that he is feeling better, he's back to being a good sleeper. We were babying him for a few nights by rocking him to sleep since he was so stuffy and miserable. We didn't mind doing this, but he grew to expect it. It only took a few nights, and we were able to break the habit.

**Blowing raspberries on my arms has become a favorite pastime of Logan's. It's so cute, except for when he bites! I do think he is grasping the concept of "no" although he doesn't always listen.

**Logan also does some new "tricks." When asked, "Where is Logan's head?" he will pat his head. When asked, "Can you show me Logan's tongue?" he will stick it out. He also is able to crawl to certain toys when prompted. "Go find Old McDonald," or "Bring Dada a ball." It's pretty cool to think that he is actually starting to understand language!

Can't wait for what the next month has in store...
