Take me out to the ballgame

This week, Logan went to not only his first baseball game but his first 2 baseball games! On Tuesday, we went to opening night of the Schaumburg Flyers with some people from my school. $5 tickets, $2 beers, and a 1 mile drive = a perfect weeknight activity! Logan really enjoyed the game. In fact, he spent a majority of the innings bouncing up and down on our knees and yelling/squeeling at the field.

On Saturday, Logan took his first outing to Wrigley field to see the Cubbies play the Cards. He was decked out in Cub gear from head to toe. Even the Cardinals fans admitted that he was the cutest Cubs fan they had ever seen :) Logan received a certificate to commemorate his first ball game at Wrigley field...

Even though it was really hot out, it was a little chilly in our seats in the shade. It actually felt perfect...

Logan had a wonderful time screaming at the field and flirting with pretty girls, but around the 5th inning, he took a little cat nap...

He woke up in time to sing during the 7th inning stretch. 1-2-3 strikes you're out at the old ball game...

We made it all the way until the end of the game. Cubs won 6-0, so of course we had to stick around to sing some "Go Cubs Go." Logan was a champion! I don't think he fussed the entire time including the mile walk to and from the stadium. And, he now has a perfect record. Let's hope that stays the case in a couple weeks when we go to the Cubs/Sox game!
